Jaime Covarrubias is known as "El Rey del Bajo" (The King of Bass) with his professional talent that can be heard at every performance and seen with the entense collection of 'bajos' that he has collected throughout the years. The Southern Californian native bass player with Mexican blood running through his veins only brings out the real flavor of all the latin rhythms while he's performing on stage. Jaime's consistant dedication as a true professional musician in all genres that has led him to perform with and or open for top latin artists such as El Gran Combo, Tito Rojas, Fulanito, Grupo Niche and Sonora Carruseles. Besides playing at all the top nightclubs, concerts and the popular annual festivals here in Los Angeles. His musical talent has also awarded him with having musical endorsers that are honored to sponsor one of the top bass players in Southern California. Besides Jaime's professional experience and heart pounding drive for music, he is also the musical director for Orquesta Solo Sabor and Sabor D' Jazz
